How the time duration calculator works

This tool measures the elapsed time between two clock times on the same day. If your end time is earlier than your start time (for example, an overnight shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM), it automatically treats the end time as falling on the following day and lets you know in the result. You can also subtract an unpaid break to get a net working duration — handy for timesheets, meeting length calculations, or figuring out how long a task actually took.
